Contactless Servicing: Bumper’s Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

21/04/2020

Due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) many garages and dealerships have reduce their capacity to cover only essential repairs. In response, Bumper aims to keep your team and your customers safe; doing our part to slow the spread of the virus.

We encourage garages and customers to minimise risk through these 4 easy steps.

The car will be collected from the customer’s home or they are asked to leave it in the car park. A waiting car park attendant takes keys wearing protective gloves.

Once the customer has received their electronic vehicle health check one of the team follows up with a courtesy call, offering affordable monthly payments.

The advisor submits the application and sends the electronic signature to the customer via email to sign at home.

Bumper will notify you when it is signed. The customer can collect their vehicle or have it delivered back to them.

Advisors should ensure sanitiser and protective clothing are used where necessary.

Our team is equipped to work from home in a secure and safe environment, meaning our phone lines will remain open for any issues you have. You can reach our customer care team free on 0800 612 0946, support@bumper.co.uk or the live chat within the website.

Keep safe and let’s do all we can to reduce the spread of this virus.
